Quick Braised Petite Sirloins with Mushroom Demi-Sauce

4 portions petite sirloins
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 Tbsp. Hannaford Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 cup water
1 (.87 oz.) packet Hannaford Brown Gravy Mix
1 Tbsp. Hannaford Tomato Paste
1 (10 oz.) pkg. Hannaford Baby Bella Mushrooms, cut in half
Quick Braised Petite Sirloins with Mushroom Demi-Sauce


1. Generously season petite sirloins with salt and pepper.
2. In a large ovenproof skillet, heat olive oil on medium-high. When oil is shimmering, add sirloins and sear until browned on one side, about 5-7 minutes.
3. While sirloin is searing, mix together 1 cup water, brown gravy packet and tomato paste in a small bowl.
4. Flip sirloins over and add mushrooms to the pan. Allow to sear another 5 minutes. Add liquid mixture to the pan and bring to a boil to thicken. Remove from heat and let rest 5 minutes before serving.
